Anna Denny - General Manager

Anna Denny joined Milton Keynes City Orchestra, as General Manager in 2004. The Orchestra has since developed its activities - both on stage and within the community - and managed the challenges of increasing the Orchestra’s grant funding and revenue, planning for a baton handover of Principal Conductor, and flying the Orchestra within tight security restrictions. Previous experiences include: five years in the commercial sector, with Ambassador Theatre Group; education and audience development with (formerly) the Orchestra of St John’s, Smith Square; and a variety of project management. She continues to be a director of Milton Keynes Arts Education Forum and a visiting lecturer in postgraduate Arts Management at ARU, Cambridge.
