Donald Edwards - Financial Controller

Donald Edwards joined the Orchestra in April 2007 as Financial Controller. Over a career spanning more than thirty years, he has progressed from trainee accountant through to senior accounting roles in both the public, charitable and private sectors. His strengths are in management accounting, budget preparation and analysis; the ability to work in a close-knit team, and with non-financial colleagues, is another feature of his approach to work. The opportunity to contribute within the administrative function of such a valuable artistic asset fits perfectly with his interest, which he has had since beginning piano lessons at the age of four, in classical music.
